All you hear on the news now is the fate of the real estate market. Foreclosure is on the rise across the nation. But, it is a good time to buy if you are in the market for a new home. I currently own a 1750 sq ft ranch in Williamsville that was build in 1962. I am thinking to myself, maybe I should get a more modern and upscale home now that the market is slowing down. Before I can so that though, I may need to find a buyer for my house.
Selling a home around is is very tough and may take anywhere from 3 to 90 days when all is going good with the economy. Now that the market is in a slump, who knows how long it would take to sell? I have looked at a couple houses in Lockport and it doesn’t look too bad but I must first find a buyer for my current home as I am unable to carry two morgages seeing that I am single and have a lot other things going on.
